    .:: Aerobic /Anaerobic Waster Water Treatment ::.

    Water World international is a high technology company focusing on biological wastewater treatment. The company has a strong position on the market, which is acquired by adopting a unique method of operation, emanating from the need and possibilities of the microorganism .
    The concern for the environment and water is something people all over the whole world have in common. Water World international  has companies in UK, Pakistan and I to increase our availability and meet the demand for our products.

    Aerobic /Anaerobic Waster Water Treatment

    Aerobic Biological Treatment

    Water World International has extensive experience in the design of aerobic treatment processes for both the municipal and industrial sectors. WWI’s aerobic treatment plants vary in complexity from simple partial treatment systems to multi stage plants. WWI has the ability to provide a treatment system for a wide range of effluent types, including unusual wastewater effluents, which meet the Clients requirements.
    Within the biological aerobic treatment range WWI can provide conventional secondary biofilters, low and high rate biotowers, activated sludge processes using coarse or fine bubble diffused air or pure oxygen, Sequencing Batch Reactors (SBRs), Membrane BioReactors (MBR), nutrient removal systems and high-rate ammonia removal systems (Amtrea).
    For all aerobic (and anaerobic) treatment plants WWI can design, supply and install the appropriate preliminary and primary treatment, secondary settlement or final clarification process and tertiary treatment processes as required.

    Anaerobic Treatment

    WWI Services  has a proprietary hybrid anaerobic reactor for the treatment of high strength industrial wastewaters. The WWI hybrid anaerobic reactor combines the benefits of an upflow anaerobic sludge blanket (UASB) and anaerobic filter (AF) systems, and can typically remove 80% of the feed organic load.
    The hybrid anaerobic process can be a single treatment process providing partial treatment of the wastewater suitable for discharge to sewer, or coupled with aerobic treatment processes for full treatment to a standard suitable for direct discharge to a watercourse. Biogas produced by the anaerobic treatment process can be used for on-site heating or electricity generation via a combined heat and power (CHP) system.
    The WWI hybrid anaerobic reactor is highly suitable for industries with high organic strength wastes. It has been employed in a variety of industrial sectors including food and beverage, paper mills, distilleries, sugar refiners and the agricultural and chemical industries.

    Many advantages

    Anaerobic biological wastewater treatment has some obvious advantages: no aeration required, less sludge produced and energy captured from methane gas production.

    So, why is anaerobic treatment not used more often?

    Unfortunately, the process is very sensitive to influent conditions and disturbances. This sensitivity is due to the extremely slow growth of the methane-producing microorganisms that are archaea, and not bacteria. Thus, diluted, cold or toxic wastewaters are usually not well suited to an anaerobic biological treatment strategy.
